Kids BJJ Classes
At Pathway Jiu-Jitsu, our kids classes teach children the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun, and structured environment. Whether your child is full of energy or a little shy, the mat is a place where they can grow at their own pace, surrounded by coaches and peers who support them every step of the way.
Classes are held every Saturday morning at 10am. As the team grows, so will the timetable.

For the shy child - finding confidence
There’s no stage in BJJ, no performance, no being singled out. Progress happens in small, personal moments – a technique clicked, a position held, a small win on the mat. Quiet kids often surprise themselves the most, and the confidence they build here tends to show up everywhere else in their life too.
For the nervous child - a structured, no-pressure start
Feeling nervous before trying something new is completely normal. Our classes are structured and calm, with DBS checked instructors who never rush a child before they’re ready. Nothing is forced.
For the energetic child - energy with a purpose
Some kids just need somewhere to put it all. BJJ is physical, engaging, and demands full focus – there’s always something new to learn or a problem to solve on the mat. High-energy kids don’t just enjoy BJJ, they thrive in it.
Simple, Flexible Pricing
We keep it simple. With only one kids class running at the moment, there’s no need for a monthly membership – just pay per session and come when you can.
As our kids programme grows and more sessions are added, we’ll introduce membership options to match. For now – £5, Saturday mornings, no strings attached.
